RentZed provides an online platform where landlords, agents, property owners, and property seekers can share, search, view, and manage rental listings in Zambia.
RentZed does not act as a broker, estate agent, property manager, landlord, tenant representative, payment collector, escrow service, or guarantor of any transaction.
By accessing or using RentZed, creating an account, posting a listing, uploading photos, sending messages, using map location features, or using the RentZed mobile application, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use RentZed.
Users may use RentZed as tenants, landlords, admins, or other authorised platform roles. Users are responsible for keeping their login details secure and for all activity carried out through their accounts.
RentZed may restrict, suspend, or remove accounts where necessary to protect the platform, comply with law, investigate misuse, or enforce these Terms.
RentZed does not guarantee that any listing information is accurate, complete, current, lawful, safe, available, or genuine. This includes ownership, rental price, property condition, location, features, photos, availability status, phone numbers, and descriptions.
Users are responsible for verifying all listing details independently before viewing a property, making a decision, entering an agreement, or sending money.
Users are solely responsible for their conduct, communications, negotiations, inspections, agreements, payments, and interactions with other users.
RentZed is not responsible for disputes, scams, failed agreements, false listings, misrepresentation, payment losses, property condition issues, or misunderstandings between landlords, agents, tenants, or other users.
RentZed does not collect rent, deposits, viewing fees, booking fees, agency fees, or other property payments on behalf of landlords, agents, tenants, or property owners.
Users should never send money before independently verifying the property, the person advertising it, the ownership or authority to rent, and the payment arrangement.
Any payment made outside RentZed is done at the user’s own risk.
By uploading photos, descriptions, phone numbers, map locations, messages, and other content, users confirm that they have the right and permission to publish or share that content.
Users must not upload unlawful, misleading, offensive, harmful, infringing, private, confidential, or unauthorised content.
RentZed may remove or restrict content that appears false, unlawful, misleading, unsafe, abusive, infringing, or harmful to the platform or its users.
Users must only upload images, documents, and materials they own or are permitted to use. RentZed is not responsible for copyright infringement or privacy violations committed by users.
If a user uploads images containing people, private property, documents, or sensitive details, that user is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary permission.
RentZed may allow users to mark a property location on a map. This may include storing latitude and longitude coordinates for a listing.
Map locations may be approximate and may not always represent the exact property boundary, entrance, room, house, or building. Users must independently confirm the location before viewing, paying, or entering any agreement.
Users should only mark a location they are authorised to share and should avoid exposing exact locations where doing so may create safety, privacy, or security risks.
RentZed may provide in-app messaging to help users communicate. Users remain responsible for what they send and how they respond to messages.
Users must not use RentZed messaging for scams, harassment, threats, spam, unlawful content, impersonation, or abusive communication.
RentZed may review or restrict messages where reasonably necessary for support, safety, legal compliance, abuse investigation, or enforcement of platform rules.
RentZed may display listing approval status and availability status such as available, occupied, taken, renovating, under upgrade, or not available.
Availability status is provided by users or admins and may change at any time. RentZed does not guarantee that a property shown as available is still available.
RentZed collects and processes information to operate accounts, listings, photos, messages, notifications, map features, security, support, and platform administration.
Some personal information may be processed, accessed, stored, backed up, or transferred outside Zambia where RentZed uses hosting providers, cloud services, email delivery services, map services, app distribution platforms, analytics tools, security tools, backup systems, or technical support services located outside Zambia.
Use of RentZed is also subject to the RentZed Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used, stored, shared, protected, retained, and possibly transferred outside Zambia.
RentZed is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. RentZed does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free, virus-free, or continuously available operation of the website, mobile app, database, messaging, maps, notifications, or listing services.
RentZed may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any feature where necessary for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or operational reasons.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RentZed and its operators shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, fraud, theft, data loss, failed transaction, misrepresentation, property dispute, payment dispute, personal injury, or other harm arising from use of the platform or reliance on any listing.
Users use RentZed at their own risk and must independently verify all important information.
RentZed may suspend, restrict, reject, hide, edit, or remove accounts, listings, photos, messages, or other content where necessary to protect the platform, comply with law, investigate abuse, respond to complaints, or enforce these Terms.
RentZed may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect platform changes, legal requirements, safety improvements, or operational needs.
The updated Terms will be published on the platform with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of RentZed after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
